Today was one of the most unique in the history of Camp Avraham Moshe. We were lucky to have Hatzolah EMT services come and tell us all about the volunteer work they do, in which they save lives each and every day. Our campers got to explore their ambulance and even were able to activate the sirens. We were also so blessed to have firefighters from station #43 in Los Angeles who demonstrated "A Day in the Life of a Firefighter" (without having to put out a fire of course!). Our campers got to try on the firefighters' uniforms and and were even able to explore the ins and outs of their fire truck! We are so grateful to LA Fire Department for volunteering their precious time as well as Scott and Nachman from Hatzolah EMT Services. In the afternoon we went swimming at Vista and our girls went to the Mellon's pool. We are so grateful to the Mellon family who so graciously allow us to use their pool each summer. We are so excited about our final field trip to Knott's Berry Farm tomorrow and cannot believe how fast the summer has gone by. We are making the most of every moment!
