Mrs. Penny PflasterEducational DirectorMrs. Penny Pflaster has been running the Ner Yaakov program, a special day class that meets in Yeshiva Toras Emes and is designed to meet the needs of students with learning disabilities, since 2007. Mrs. Pflaster has an M.A. in Education and more than 27 years of experience in the field. Aside from being a regular classroom teacher for many years, Mrs. Pflaster coordinated the Student Support program in Yavneh Hebrew Academy, acting as liaison between parents, teachers, and administration to help meet the needs of each individual student. Teacher
Mrs. Tzipporah Coronel has been a teacher in the Ner Yaakov program special day class at Yeshiva Toras Emes since 2009. Mrs. Coronel has a Master's degree in Special Education and has earned a California Level I Education Specialist Teaching Credential, qualifying her to teach students with mild to moderate disabilities in all schools in the State of California. Prior to teaching at Yeshiva Toras Emes, Mrs. Coronel taught at an elementary school in Queens, New York. Claudia D. Wenger
Educational DirectorClaudia Wenger is the Educational Director for the Etta Israel Center’s Ner Shoshana class at Bais Yaakov Los Angeles, and also serves as Etta's J-CHAI Coordinator. She has a B.S. in Education and M.S. in Special Education, as well as general studies and special education credentials from USC.
