ETTA, founded in 1993, provides a full spectrum of services for adults with disabilities
MISSION
ETTA’s mission is to provide programs and services that enable people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, such as autism and Down syndrome, to live fully enriched, independent, included and active lives as members of the Los Angeles community.
VISION
ETTA’s vision is an inclusive, participatory community of people, with and without disabilities, succeeding and growing together.
NEED
More than 2.7 million Californians have a disability – the most of any state in the nation.
Only 20% of people with disabilities, including those with autism, are employed.
Less than 16% of adults with learning and developmental differences live independently.
There is great need for the services ETTA provides: residential housing, case management, employment training, social programs and more. And ETTA goes beyond service provision to create a life-enhancing community of hope, warmth, support and expertise for so many families and individuals.
