Foundation for Supported Living
ETTA’s Foundation for Supported Living (FSL) is a vehicle for facilitating the establishment of residential options for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, such as autism and Down syndrome.
FSL provides customized, unique, and scalable opportunities for clients and donors, such as:
- Purchasing a property site for the program
- Retaining personal ownership of it as an investment
- Receiving an opportunity to customize who lives in the house
- Significant social return on investment in creating affordable housing options for people with disabilities
- Supporting operating costs
- Providing scholarships for needier clients
Under this program, for example, a family may purchase a home privately for an adult child or relative, and bring in ETTA, a trusted partner, to find roommates (if desired), provide disability services as well as all property management services.
